Celestial Considerations: September 3rd - September 9th

CCseptboat

How is everyone feeling as we transition into September? I know I can personally feel the influence of planetary transitions "revving up" after a quiet few weeks, so I am trying to take the time to step back, be mindful, and act in awareness in the days ahead.

Get ready, all through September the planets are very busy.  You may want to reference the eclipse energies from this summer and view how you are adjusting and working with those as the planets ask us to tweak and revise.  One of the things that I love about astrology is that it continually shows us where we need to look in our lives to adjust and continue to grow. Pay extra attention to what you hear inside your head and what those around you are saying. Your words have power and strength behind them, so use them wisely. The planets are aligning once again to help us prepare for the New Moon in Virgo next Sunday. I know I personally need some contemplating before it arrives, and I’m grateful for the planets giving me hints on where to look and how I can best prepare.

Monday September 3rd: Mercury in Leo sextile Venus in Libra

These are two very social planets, with Mercury ruling communication and Venus ruling relationships. They also have similar orbital speed and because of that the only aspects they can have with each other are conjunction or sextile.  When I look at this aspect and its timing, it is a time for you to be heard... your words are going to be gentle on the ears (Venus). Even though Mercury in the last degrees of Leo has fiery energy behind it, they are words with strength and power behind them.  Venus brings your words out in a loving and caring form that will be heard and understood. This has potential to be a time of cooperation, diplomacy and mediation between opposing views.

Wednesday September 5th: Mercury moves into Virgo

While Mercury is in Virgo our communications, our mind and thought forms will become more organized and details will become more clear.

Thursday September 6th: Saturn in Capricorn turns direct

We’re getting there! Only the 3 outer planets remain retrograde Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.  We need to remain aware of where in our lives... we are in a repetitive pattern, and remind ourselves to take it to a higher level.

Friday September 7th: Mercury trine Uranus Rx in Taurus, Mercury trine Saturn and Virgo Sun in opposition to Neptune Rx in Pisces

Mercury/Uranus Rx trine has your intuition in high gear; you are very aware and tuned in.  The beauty of Uranus in Taurus is how grounded this energy is as it gives us some possibilities for changes here on earth.  As above so below.

Mercury/Saturn trine has perseverance and persistence with a common sense approach to get out there and get ‘er done. This one also gives your voice an authority that others will recognize.

Sun/Neptune Rx opposition that tug of war between these two looking for the balance.  There is tension with an awareness to connect your heart and soul and your higher beliefs.  If you get into a feeling of inferiority, make certain to look deeper into the real you.  This aspect could also shed light on some realities that we don’t want to see; be real with yourself and the world we live in but don’t let it take you down. Remind yourself that there are many humans in this world doing some amazing work.  This is a good time to avoid the news if you haven’t been doing so already.

Saturday September 8th: Venus squre Mars in Capricorn

This could bring out some intense love-hate feelings and just ahead of our New Moon. If you witness this in yourself or those around you utilize that higher intuition to look at what is really the core issue; not just the surface reaction. A reminder to stay out of judgement of yourself and others.

Sunday September 9th: New Moon Virgo, Venus moves into Virgo

It is starting to feel like fall is in the air. We are saying goodbye to summer with mixed feelings while we are still in the midst of harvest; time to prepare and take care of those practical and mundane things that simply need to get done.  Not all of these chores are fun to do, but getting them taken care of will relieve stress later on. With our Sun and Moon in Virgo there are lots of details in our lives to tend to or take another look at. New Moons are always the time we plant seeds, AND we reap what we sow, so be wise. Take things one step at a time, which comes natural to Virgo.  This energy is also very grounded with Virgo our second earth sign in the chart. This New Moon has strong emotions attached to it. Where we are, where we want to go, and who we want to be may look like a very long difficult road with this New Moon.  Don’t let feelings and emotions distract you; take it one step at a time 1, and 2, and 3, and 4.

In Spirit,

Brenda
